The programme envisages the passing of 121 laws and 354 regulations by year's end, as well as numerous implementation measures, said Zeljko Kupresak, state secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. This is the highest number of acts the Sabor has to pass in one year. Last year, 74 such acts were adopted. Twenty bills have to be drawn up by the Finance Ministry, 17 by the Economy, Labour and Enterprise Ministry, 17 by the Health Ministry, and 15 by the Justice Ministry, said Kupresak, adding that funds would be determined in the final draft budget for 2008, the sixth year of Croatia's preparations for EU membership. |
