Minister Jandroković and Ambassador Tamura expressed mutual satisfaction with the present relations between Croatia and Japan, confirming readiness to further improve the bilateral relations in all areas of joint interest, with the two countries’ economic cooperation remaining the priority. Ambassador Tamura pointed out that Japan is consistently supporting Croatia’s EU membership accession.
In regard to the multilateral cooperation, the collocutors emphasized Croatia and Japan’s cooperation within the UN Security Council.
